Return to the Hive!Friday, June 13 - Monday, June 16 Come back to Tech for the first annual Young Alumni Reunion Weekend, a weekend-long celebration that takes center stage this summer! In addition to the excitement of a reunion and visiting new and old places on campus, the Reunion Weekend includes rappelling, parties, a golf tournament, food and fun. Enjoy sharing your memories, meeting with friends and great June weather. Roll into town and join other young alumni for food and drinks at a close-to-campus favorite, the Rocky Mountain patio! Saturday, June 14Rappel for Roll Call10 a.m. - 6 p.m. ViewPoint - 855 Peachtree Street, Atlanta 30308 view map Looking for some adventure? As a part of our centennial celebration, the first 100 GT alumni (1986 - 2007) to secure $1,000 in new gifts to the 61st Roll Call get to participate in an experience of a lifetime, rappelling down one of Atlanta’s skyscrapers. Rappel Watching Party 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. (Drop in anytime) Gordon Biersch - 848 Peachtree Street, Atlanta 30308 view map Pay as you go plus one free drink ticket to all that pre-register, are rappelling or have donated to a rappeller. Viewpoint has opened up their exclusive amenity deck just for Tech alumni for this one night only. The venue offers skyline views of Atlanta along rooftop walking paths and pool area while you enjoy a game of billiards, heavy appetizers and a premium open bar. You can mingle with friends and former classmates while dancing the night away to music by the DJ. There is also a door prize for two roundtrip tickets on AirTran Airways. The night will be fun for all and a great way to reconnect with your alma mater. Half of the ticket price goes toward the Young Alumni Council sponsored student scholarship to benefit an incoming student.
