Georgia Tech Alumni Admissions Program (GTAAP)
Georgia Tech Alumni are known for having great pride in their education. One of the best ways you can show your pride and enhance the value of your degree is by recruiting excellent students to attend Georgia Tech. GTAAP is a great way for alumni to stay involved with Georgia Tech while spreading the word to the next generation of Yellow Jackets!
GTAAP is a partnership between the Georgia Tech Alumni Association and the Office of Undergraduate Admission. Our goal is to enhance the reputation of Georgia Tech across the country; building effective relationships between alumni and prospective students. As a member of GTAAP you may be asked to participate in the following activities:
- Contacting prospective students by phone or email
- Hosting or attending prospective student receptions
- Representing Georgia Tech at local college fairs
By sharing your collegiate experience and professional success with prospective students, you illustrate the benefits of a Georgia Tech education. You may be the reason a student chooses Georgia Tech!
Interested in joining GTAAP? If you are interested in becoming a student recruiter, we ask that you carefully complete the GTAAP training program and quiz below. You will be asked to enter your personal information so that we may contact you about recruiting activities in your area.
- Read the GTAAP Training Manual – the manual provides information about Student Recruiting activities and Frequently Asked Questions.
- Take the Quiz – test your knowledge of Georgia Tech by taking the GTAAP Quiz. You will be asked to enter your personal information here.
- You will receive confirmation of your training via email.
Alumni Student Referrals
As Alumni, you are the eyes and ears of Georgia Tech across the country. We need your help to recruit excellent future Yellow Jackets! Do you know an outstanding student in grades 8-12? Encourage them to visit the Georgia Tech Admissions website and provide their contact information. The Office of Undergraduate Admission will contact the student with further information about Georgia Tech opportunities and programs.
