Club Scholarship Information

The Georgia Tech Alumni Association and the Georgia Tech Foundation invite your club to establish an endowed scholarship as part of the Club Scholarship Program. The program annually awards scholarships to incoming freshmen around the country through the geographic Georgia Tech Clubs.

Restricted Scholarship Accounts
Each year, money contributed to the scholarship fund account may be used for club scholarships. We encourage all clubs with scholarship fund accounts to build their account, so it may reach the endowment level of $25,000. When the balance in the restricted scholarship fund account reaches $25,000, we set up a full endowment account for the club.

Endowment Scholarship Accounts

Upon reaching $25,000 to start an endowment, the Georgia Tech Foundation must complete an endowment agreement. This agreement sets forth the parameters of awarding the scholarship. Using the interest, awards are made for the academic year after the year in which the endowment is established. Through our Matching Program, the interest is matched at a predetermined amount. The matching program is funded year to year and is not guaranteed. Contributions are tax-deductible and can be made at any time. We encourage clubs to continue to grow the endowment with contributions beyond the initial $25,000.

Contributions should be made payable to the Georgia Tech Foundation and should be directed to 190 North Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30313.
