About Our Alumni
In 2008, more than 900 job seeking Georgia Tech alumni participated in the Career Fair, representing all levels of experience and expertise. More than 74 percent of attendees were actively looking for a new position!
Most alumni who attend the GT Alumni Career Fair have between 0-10 years of experience. The following is a breakdown of participants according to graduation year range from the 2008 fair.

Degrees
Through its Colleges of Architecture, Computing, Engineering, Management, Sciences, and the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts, Georgia Tech offers 36 undergraduate majors, six undesignated bachelor of science degrees, 47 master's programs, and 30 doctoral programs. Attendees from all college populations are represented at our fair. The most highly represented professional areas at last year’s fair were: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering and Management. You'll meet with candidates such as these:
- Senior Marketing Manager from a high-technology firm who grew a $2 million business unit into a $21 million unit;
- Supply Chain Manager with an engineering degree, an MBA and more than five years logistics experience with a major retailer;
- VP of Engineering for a top global communications company with more than 20 years experience;
- Consultant with experience in the analysis, design and implementation of large scale business solutions;
- Senior Software Engineer with 10 years of application development experience, including client-side development;
- Financial Analyst from a leading beverage company with fifteen years experience in capital project analysis and forecasting;
- Sales Representative with significant business development experience in the consumer products industry in Latin America;

- An 8' by 10' exhibit space for meeting candidates , a standard 6' table, available electrical outlet, and a wireless Internet connection (reservation required)
- Entry in the Employer Data Book listing your company's contact information and current/upcoming job openings distributed to all alumni attending.
- A link to your web site on the Georgia Tech Alumni Career Services web site.
Registration Details
Registration and booth assignments are based on a first-come, first-served basis. Space is limited. The event is restricted to direct hiring companies only - no third party agencies, please.
Early Registration Fee (Through January 31, 2009)
To assist our hiring companies in keeping costs lower, we are offering a special early registration rate. Through the end of January, the Career Fair registration fee is $1,500 and includes all employer activities. A discounted rate of $750 is available for the following employers: non-profit organizations, state/local government agencies, Georgia Tech affiliates, and companies with less than 50 employees worldwide.
General Registration (Feb 1 through March 10, 2009) The regular Career Fair registration fee will be in effect between February 1, 2009 and March 10, 2009. The fee during that time frame is $1,750. A discounted rate of $1,000 is available for the following employers: non-profit organizations, state/local government agencies, Georgia Tech affiliates, and companies with less than 50 employees worldwide. Late Registration (after March 10, 2009) is $1,950 for all employers.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received before March 10, 2009 are responsible for a $750 cancellation fee. Companies cancelling a reservation on or after March 10, 2009 are responsible for the full registration fee.
Hotel Accommodations
A block of hotel rooms is available at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel. The hotel is connected to the Cobb Galleria Centre and is located at 2450 Galleria Parkway.
