| Description: | Join fellow Georgia Tech alumni, local students, incoming freshmen, family members and friends for an afternoon of fun in the Orange County sun! Enjoy food and drinks, activities for children, swimming, bike rentals, beach volleyball and more. NOTE: There is an entrance fee to get into the park. Also, be aware that parking at or near the picnic area is limited. If you do not get there in the morning, overflow parking is about a 1/2 mile drive away. If you end up in the overflow parking area, the shortest and easiest way to area #6 is to walk along the beach for 5 – 10 minutes instead of backtracking along the roads. We hope you can join us at Doheny State Park. The ranger will give you a map of the complex upon entrance to the park. Time: |
