DESCRIPTION:Each year\, the alumni club gets together to celebrate communit
 y service and philanthropy to others. We have chosen one day in the Fall to
  pick a project to best help and give back to the community. Our GTAZ Phila
 nthropy Committee has chosen the date of Saturday\, November 21\, 2009 as o
 ur community service day. This date does not conflict with any GT game watc
 hing\, as it falls on the weekend of the Yellow Jackets' bye week. \n\nIn t
 he spirit of giving back to the community\, we'll be volunteering at the An
 dre House in Downtown Phoenix from 1:00-3:00 pm. Project activities will in
 clude donation collection and sorting. Volunteers must be 12 years and olde
 r and should wear comfortable clothing and tennis (closed toe) shoes. And t
 o show our Georgia Tech spirit\, be sure to wear a GTAZ polo or t-shirt. \n
 \nFor those interested\, confirmation letters of voluntary service can be p
 rovided to volunteers to acknowledge participation and community service ho
