| 14 | Team Buzz Event Team Buzz is Georgia Tech’s annual event to focus students and alumni on the needs of the community around them and to lead a helping hand.
In recent years our alumni club has been proud to partner with the Second Harvest Food Bank to help sort items donated during their food drives. This year we are continuing that tradition with another food sorting event this year.
The current plan is to meet on November 14th with the event lasting from 9 am - 12 pm. The Second Harvest Food Bank is located in Gray, TN (see address at the end of this article or contact Matt Storey for details).
Over the years this event has proven to be a popular family activity. We recommend that children be at least 8-9 years old if they attend. Any spouses, children, and friends are wel-
come to attend.
We would request that you RSVP with Matt Storey (423-245-5745, msto-rey@eastman.com) to help us plan the event. However, if you discover late you get a chance to come or can bring someone you didn’t expect, we don’t need a specific headcount for this activity, so go ahead and come or bring your guest. |
