The Northeast Tennessee Scholarship Committee is excited to announce that Jesse Egeler has been awarded a Georgia Tech’s President's Scholarship. This is the school’s premier merit-based award and is offered to approximately 100 outstanding entering freshmen who have demonstrated superb leadership skills, are among the top few in their class in academic performance, and show promise of continuing such performance in college and beyond. Jesse is a graduate of Elizabethton High School and was awarded one of the highest level scholarships.  The scholarship is renewable for four academic years. Students are expected to maintain honors-level academic performance and stay involved in campus or community activities. In addition, Jess has been awarded the Northeast Tennessee Georgia Tech Alumni Scholarship. This scholarship is specifically for incoming freshmen and is a $2,000 one time award. Congratulations Jesse!

CHAMPIONS AGAIN !

Congratulations to the NE Tennessee Ga Tech Club. For the sixth year in a row we have been the winner in the Heisman League and have the highest percent giving of all alumni clubs. For the 60th Roll Call we achieved a 35.27% participation level . Winning this year’s competition not only brings recognition to our club  but provides a $500 award which applies to our local scholarship. This leadership performance comes from you as contributors to the Annual Roll Call. Overall the 60th Roll Call provided $8,182,230 to Tech.

Just as a new football season is underway so has the 61st Roll Call drive started. Perhaps you have already been contacted by Tech concerning your gift and if so it is hoped you gave a positive response. If you have never been a Roll Call contributor or have not contributed in recent years please consider making a gift this year. Whether you contribute by mailing a check or using the internet it is a simple process. Any amount you contribute helps both the NE Tennessee Club and Tech in a meaningful way.
