Guests were buzzing about the Ramblin' Wreck groom's cake served at the wedding of Stacey Conyers and Tech alumnus Calvin D. Johnson.

For the nuptials of Calvin D. Johnson, MgtSci 73, and Stacey Conyers, not just any groom's cake would do. Guests feasted on an entirely edible Ramblin' Wreck replica — a fitting confection for a wedding party of Georgia Tech alumni.

The groom's best man was Keith R. Propst, Math 73, his former roommate at Tech. Serving as groomsman for the April 29 wedding was Johnson's son, Adam, Mgt 03, a fourth-generation Ramblin' Wreck.

A former Alumni Association trustee, Johnson is president and COO of Electronic Commerce Strategies, an e-business and financial services consulting firm. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson live in Tucker, Ga.
