YouTube Video Competition

The Task Force on the Future of American Innovation is sponsoring a YouTube video contest for scientists and budding scientists.

To highlight scientific innovation in America, individuals are asked to film a three-minute video that demonstrates how inventions resulting from federally funded research have changed our lives.

Entries must be posted to the YouTube.com contest page by Sept. 10. A video presentation about the competition may be viewed at www.youtube.com/watch?v=tuGBNNCwkfs.

The top five videos will be screened at a Capitol Hill event on Oct. 4 during the 50th anniversary commemoration of the launching of Sputnik. The grand prize winner will receive $1,000 and an all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C., for the activities.
