Bill George, IE 64, was the chief executive and chairman of the board of Medtronic, the world's leading medical technology company. Now he's the best-selling author of "Authentic Leadership" and "True North."
George explained his leadership principles on Charlie Rose's television talk show Aug. 27. That appearance is only the latest media attention given to "True North," hailed by The New York Times as "one of the most important books on leadership to come along in years."
