Responses to articles that appeared in the August issue of BUZZwords have prompted the dedication of space to letters from readers.
"Making Dreams a Reality," a story about August electrical engineering graduate Chris Dalbec's creation of a castle facade for a summer wedding, prompted a letter from his dad.
Dream Come True
Thank you so much for displaying the talents of Chris. Please permit his parents to provide a more in-depth look at what he accomplished during his undergraduate career. He was the Web master, actor and set builder for DramaTech. An active member of the Glee Club, he was the lead for the group's two trips to Hawaii and the Christmas with AirTran promotion.
Thank you Georgia Tech, Jerry Ulrich and the Georgia Tech staff for allowing our dreams to come true for Chris while at Georgia Tech. He has come a long way since we participated in FASET.

Professor Endicott is one of the most interesting and caring professors that I had at Georgia Tech. He is so passionately involved in what he is teaching that his classes were always so meaningful to me. I wish him great success in his new role but he will be sadly missed at Tech.

On the origins of a Ramblin' Wreck sculpture:
Wreck Tie Pin
I bought a tie clip as a freshman in 1964 that looked exactly like this sculpture only in yellow and white. I used that tie pin for all these years — until I lost it just this past year at one of our Arizona Georgia Tech Club functions.
This sculpture may have been the model for the tie pin. You might check old records from the bookstore in 1964.
