The inaugural Bucky Johnson Classic Golf tournament will be played on Stone Mountain's Lakemont course on June 22 at 9am. Kappa Kappa Psi, Tech's honorary music service fraternity is sponsoring the tournament to honor band director Johnson who is retiring after a 20 year career at Tech. Proceeds will be used to support the music department. The deadline for registration is May 22. The Georgia Tech softball squad met before the season to set goals for the season. The freshmen were lobbying for a .700 or .800 winning percentage, somewhat lofty for a program that hasn't had a winning record since 1996.
