Gen. Dan McNeill, commanding general of U.S. Army Forces Command, spoke to more than 200 alumni and students at the kickoff reception of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association's military interest group during Homecoming weekend. U.S. Rep. Jim Marshall, a Vietnam veteran representing Georgia's third district, also spoke at the inaugural reception in the Wardlaw Building. Retired Col. James A. Stevens, IM 75, of Acworth, Ga., serves as president of the alumni military organization.
