Centennial Homecoming, Family Weekend

The Georgia Tech Alumni Association has set dates for its centennial Homecoming and traditional Family Weekend.

"Homecoming is always a time to celebrate but this year will be extra special with centennial features like Buzz Around Town. For alumni, this is the year not to miss," said Renee Queen, vice president for Marketing Services.

Family Weekend, a celebration for current students and their parents, will be held Oct. 3-4 and feature seminars, campus tours and the Georgia Tech vs. Duke football game.

The centennial Homecoming celebration will be Oct. 23-25 and highlight special activities, in addition to key reunions, Buzz Bash and football. Milestone reunions will be held for the classes of 1983, 1968 and 1958 along with the Old Gold celebration and the popular Buzz Bash for all other classes. The Yellow Jackets will play ACC foe Virginia in the Homecoming game.
