The Georgia Tech Black Alumni Organization plans March meetings that combine business with pleasure.

The GTBAO will have its first business meeting of the year to discuss its strategic initiatives and the direction of the organization on March 3 at the Ferst Center for the Arts. An exhibit showcasing the achievements of black Tech alumni entrepreneurs will be featured in the Ferst Center gallery.

After the meeting, the GTBAO invites alumni to join them for the matinee performance of "Epiphany" at 2 p.m. by Ballethnic, Atlanta's African-American dance troupe. Tickets are $22.

The GTBAO will host an evening of music and poetry at 5 p.m., March 30 at the Georgia Tech Alumni/Faculty House. Ryan Stewart of the Two Live Stews radio show will host the event featuring the saxophone artistry of Ajani Sandridge, jazz performed by the Ivan Brown Trio and a poetry reading by Marlon Williams. An open mic will also be available for guests who wish to dazzle the crowd. Cost is $8.
