Have Passport, Will Travel

Sure, it's only July, but it's not too early to start planning for travel in 2008.

The Georgia Tech Alumni Association has announced its tour schedule for next year. The itinerary features some tours offered many times before as well as others not on the 2007 calendar.

Alumni Travel again will offer such trips as a Panama Canal cruise, an expedition to Antarctica, a springtime visit to Holland and Belgium, a tour through China along the Yangtze River and a "Great Journey Through Europe" with stops in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Switzerland.

Among the additions for 2008 are "Treasures of South America," with visits to Argentina and Chile; April in Australia; a 13-day cruise around Italy and the Greek Isles; nine days in and around Paris; and a land and sea journey to French Polynesia.

Alumni and friends also can book now for 2008 trips to Spain, the Galapagos, Kenya and Alaska.
