JacketNet Makes Job Hunting Easier

One of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association's most popular features has undergone a makeover to make it even more user friendly.

Career Services is launching a revamped version of its online career resource center for alumni. JacketNet Jobs, like JobNet before it, will allow alumni to post resumes, search for jobs and research companies. Employers will post information on available positions and search for qualified alumni.

The new and improved Web site has more than just a new white and gold sheen. Alumni now may create search agents that will notify them when jobs meeting their criteria are posted.

"JacketNet Jobs is an updated version of the JobNet program that has been a terrific service to alumni for years," said Caroline Taylor, senior manager of Career Services and Networking for the Alumni Association. "We listened to consistent feedback from alumni and employers regarding the look, feel and functionality of the new system. We wanted to create an updated site that would provide some of the same functionality and ease of use as the larger job boards that are available for both our alumni population and employers to use."

Alumni now may register with JacketNet and create resume profiles at www.gtalumni.org/jacketnetjobs.
