Changing Tunes: Expanding Music through Technology

The College of Architecture presents "Changing Tunes: Expanding Music through Technology," the 2007 Dean's Symposium on the Changing Nature of Practice, at the Klaus Advanced Computing Building March 3 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a reception in the atrium of the West Architecture Building.

Organized in cooperation with the music department, scholars and practitioners will discuss ideas and developments including new interfaces for musical expression and algorithmic composition, music information retrieval, musical networks and machine musicianship. There is no registration fee but reservtations must be made before Feb. 20.
