DiSabatino Gets New Post
![]() Dean of Students Gail DiSabatino has resigned her Georgia Tech position. In January DiSabatino was named vice president for student affairs at Clemson University. She had been the dean of students and assistant vice president of student affairs at Tech since 1995. "After an extensive national search that netted more than 60 applicants, Gail was clearly the top candidate. She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to that position," said James F. Parker, president of Clemson. DiSabatino begins working part time at Clemson in February and will take over the post full time in late March. At Tech she oversaw student clubs and organizations, student publications, community service, leadership development, student success and diversity programs and the Women's Resource Center. |
