Motorcycle enthusiasts as well as executives seeking to lead high-performance businesses should motor to the next Georgia Tech Business Network event, "Triumph Motorcycles: How a Classic U.K. Company is Winning in the U.S. Market."
Mark Kennedy, the CEO of Triumph North America, will speak Dec. 6 in the College of Management's LeCraw Auditorium. He will talk about how the more than 100-year-old British motorcycle company, which reached the peak of its popularity in the 1960s only to declare bankruptcy in the early '80s, was restarted and positioned itself to become the No. 5 provider worldwide.
Event check-in and registration for the event is at 6:30 p.m. Kennedy's presentation will begin at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a reception at The Globe restaurant in Technology Square.
The Georgia Tech Business Network is a volunteer organization created in 2002 to connect the Tech community with Atlanta business and technology leaders through events and networking opportunities.
