Traveling With a Camera

A photo exhibit, "Six Continents, a Girl and a Camera," featuring the works of Kristi Odom, Cls 02, continues at the Ferst Center for the Arts through April 20.

Odom caught the travel bug through Georgia Tech's study abroad program, which took her to the University of New South Wales in Australia. An electrical engineering major at Tech, Odom ended up staying in Australia and earning a fine arts degree. After graduating, the former Technique photographer traveled around the world, with only her camera as a companion.

She returned to campus in March to take part in a panel discussion, "Women With Courage: Traveling and Living Abroad." The program was part of Women's Awareness Month activities on campus.
