Bernie Marcus, co-founder of The Home Depot and benefactor of the Georgia Aquarium, will deliver the commencement address on May 6.

More than 2,000 undergraduate and graduate degrees will be presented during the ceremony, scheduled from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Georgia Dome.

Marcus and Arthur Blank opened the first The Home Depot in Atlanta in 1979. At the end of fiscal year 2005, there were more than 2,000 stores in the United States, Mexico and Canada generating more than $81 billion in revenue.
