![]() Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, the 23rd annual Georgia Tech Alumni Career Conference on April 12 at the Cobb Galleria Centre is a chance to meet representatives from more than 100 companies. "This is a great opportunity for all Tech alumni," Lara Stickney, director of Networking and Career Services, said. "It's not just an engineering career fair, rather we have a diverse base of companies recruiting marketing analysts, employee relations managers, supply chain consultants, business system analysts, marketing and communications managers, accountants, civil site engineers and project engineers and managers — just to name a few." The 8 a.m. opening session is a continental breakfast featuring Rosita Smith, business development manager for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, who will present "Where Are the Jobs? Job Search Strategies in the 21st Century." A networking lunch at 12:30 p.m. features Joe Evans, IM 71, chairman and CEO of Flag Financial Corp., presenting "Taking Your Career from Good to Great." Tickets are $10 for each event and seating is limited. The main career fair session will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., followed by on-site interviews from 2 to 5 p.m. for alumni selected to meet individually with company representatives.
