First one on June 7, 1920, was sponsored by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association to celebrate its reorganization.
  Featured a barbecue on Grant Field, a baseball game between students and alumni and a banquet at the Ansley Hotel, all colorfully described by Atlanta Journal writer Morgan Blake
  It was noted in newspaper accounts that alumni attended from New York, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and one all the way from Canada.
  An annual event now celebrated in the fall around a home football game.
  The event that serves as an umbrella for many of Tech's other traditions such as the Wreck Parade.
