Hispanic Business magazine ranked Georgia Tech second in its list of top engineering schools.

In the September issue, the magazine said Tech benefited from the Goizueta Foundation's funding of Hispanic recruitment and retention and pointed to Tech's strong student involvement in organizations such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and La Unidad Latina.

The magazine said the 45 postgraduate degrees earned by Hispanic students were the most of any school in the top 10 and the 156 Hispanics enrolled in engineering were second only to San Diego State University.
