Call for Nominations

Nominations are being accepted through Nov. 4 for the Outstanding Young Alumnus Award and the Dean Griffin Community Service Award. Self-nominations are accepted.

The Outstanding Young Alumnus Award honors a Tech graduate who has not reached age 40 by March 16, 2006. The primary considerations for nomination are:

Contributions made by the nominee to Georgia Tech and the Georgia Tech Alumni Association.

Contributions made by the nominee to the general welfare of his/her community.

Contributions made by the nominee to his/her profession.

The Dean Griffin Community Service Award recognizes an alumnus who has performed exemplary community service work. The four primary considerations are:

Service in a long-term volunteer capacity.

Impact on the quality of life of others.

Demonstrated leadership and creative ability to deal with societal problems proactively.

Setting an example for others to follow.

Nominations may be submitted online at gtalumni.org/goldandwhite by Nov. 4.
