The deadline to register for Leadership Georgia Tech, an annual conference designed to help every alumni club improve and excel, is Oct. 6 for the event on Oct. 28 and 29.

Outstanding clubs and club leaders will also be recognized during the event. The $50 registration fee includes one night at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, a pregame tailgate Thursday evening at the Alumni Association, one club-level ticket to the Georgia Tech vs. Virginia football game, Friday’s conference including all sessions with leadership materials, breakfast, lunch and snacks and admission to the women’s volleyball match between Georgia Tech and Florida State at 7 p.m. Friday.

Friday’s luncheon speaker will be Orson Swindle, IM 59, a former Marine aviator who was shot down from the skies over North Vietnam while flying his 205th and last combat mission during the Vietnam War. He was captured by the North Vietnamese and spent six years and four months as a prisoner of war.
