Panel Discusses Health Care Technology

Health care is one of the hottest growth sectors of the nation’s economy with industry analysts predicting that spending on information technology alone will soar to $47.9 billion by 2006. A panel discussion about information technologies for health care, such as computerized physician order entry, wireless technology and electronic record storage, will be held Nov. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Alumni/Faculty House.

Panelists include:

  • Pam Arlotto, HS 80, president of Maestro Strategies
  • Brue Chandler, IE 70, former CEO of St. Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta
  • Jonathan Leviss, M.D., senior manager for Healthcare Practice, Deloitte Consulting
  • Rusty Overton, IE 70, MSM 73, executive vice president for Strategy and Business Development, McKesson Provider Technologies
