The Nu Beta chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha celebrated the sorority’s 25th year at Georgia Tech during Homecoming weekend. The Tech chapter was chartered in April 1979.
The anniversary celebration included a reception at the Renaissance Concourse Hotel and a speaker series, “The Circus of Life: Juggling Life’s Challenges,” Nicolette A. Gordon-Battle, ME 93, of Hampton, Ga., said.
According to Gordon-Battle, 75 current and former sisters attended the Alumni Association tailgate party.
